Young Mentors LEADERSHIP Program
Our Young Mentors program is an incredible opportunity for teens to become authentic nature based mentors and leaders. They play an essential role in the success of our programs, and are part of making the magic happen at VWP! During the school year, we offer:
Field Practicum: Hands-on mentoring experience as an assistant at one of our weekly or monthly school-year programs; debriefs with professional staff
Group Training: Once a quarter gatherings with fellow Young Mentors and VWP’s Field Director
Application Deadline: August 1st
Fee: $150 includes all trainings and a background check, no one turned away for lack of funds

want to learn and lead nature-based games and outdoor skills/activities
are attentive to group management
are excited to have fun with us!
