Three Kind Ways to be in the Forest

This week we heard a story about two children who visit two Elders, and discover Three Kind Ways to be in the forest. Does your child remember what those ways are? Are they ways that we want to aim to follow too? After some hiding games, fox tales, exploration, and miniature building around our fire circle, we set off on a wander. The land offered us more opportunity for exploration and games. We encountered an ant hill and the very small busyness of the ants! And a resurgence of nettles. At the close of our day, we settled into a quiet reflection, sharing stories of our day, and drawing. Our time passed quickly!
